You can also combine this hardy perennial with ornamental grasses like Stipa gigantea or Pennisetum and create a gorgeous hazy prairie effect. Sneezeweed grows back every year and, over time, establishes itself into a generous clump which produces masses up upright flowering stems. Helenium is resilient and unfussy, coping well with poor soils, heat and drought.
